Welcome to Reception's Class page where you can keep up to date with all the super learning that is going on in our classroom.
Look at the fabulous time we had at East Riddlesden Hall. We used blackberries and pegs to create patterns on our fabric and had lots of fun exploring the gardens following a treasure trail. The children made seed bombs, saw the ducklings and visited the house to look at similarities and differences in homes now and then. Having had an exhausting day, a few of us even fell asleep on the way home.
Thank you to Chris for teaching us new skills whilst riding our balance bikes. We have worked really hard and had lots of fun.
Thank you to everyone for making our Victorian day such a success. The children looked fantastic in all their costumes.
Throughout the day the children took part in various activities including drill, handwriting, sewing, observational drawings and making their own toys.
We have been learning about how to use fire safely. Thank you to Mr. Rocks for our outdoor fun of toasting marshmallows, baking bread and making toffee apples.
Thank you to our Police Community Officer, Jo, who came in to talk to the children about her job.
Thank you for all your support in helping us to swiftly settle the children into school life.
We are having lots of fun learning new things.
This week we have been exploring the field looking for signs of Autumn.
We have been using our senses to investigate what we have found.
